The digitalization of our workplaces is progressing. We must participate and leverage its opportunities. It is essential to us that employees are supported during this process to ensure that digital work is secure and effective.
A fair salary and appropriate job classification are central to us. As members of the ver.di list in the Personnel Council, we have attended multiple trainings to better advise employees on job evaluations, reclassifications, and other concerns.
We prioritize ensuring that classifications comply with the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) and its associated compensation structure. Employees should be paid appropriately for the work they do. When we believe a classification or evaluation is incorrect, we are not afraid to challenge the administration. In recent years, the Personnel Council has successfully challenged multiple classifications, often securing higher pay for employees.
